After a long stroll in the Anjuna Wednesday Market, making our way among colorful stalls and almost equally colorful tourists, we finally started to feel tired, in need of a nice place to sit down and relax. Then we heard the music: Joe Cocker's songs, live, coming out of a large wooden hut, which bore the sign: "Sea Breeze". Inside we found a crowd of tourists, mixed generations of the young (who probably did not know Joe Cocker) and the middle aged (who probably remembered the good old days of the 60s and 70s), all merrily drinking and eating and listening to the singer, an aging hippie accompanied by some local youngsters. We sat down, gulped Kingfisher beer and enjoyed the company of a couple of young Finns who were deploring the sad fact that it was almost time for them to fly home to their cold winter…
When you are in the Anjuna market, when your feet start to tell you they are getting weary, head towards "Sea Breeze"!

Address: In Anjuna market, towards the beach
Starco's isn't just a place to stay. It is a popular place to eat and drink whilst not disturbing the guests.
It is set in a spacious leafy garden with fairy lights. The staff are friendly and the food was great at a reasonable price.
Favorite Dish: Goan Sausage Chilli fry. spicy with plenty of flavour.

We have been to Anjuna twice now and we always go to the shore bar.
It's a great place to relax in the comfy deck chairs, with the sand under your feet. Chilled music playing, occasional live music. Food is great and the expresso isn't bad either.
Give it a go and see what you think.
Favorite Dish: Expresso coffee, not a dish I know.

Address: Near the wednesday flea market
Anjuna is best known for its party scene and the wednesday market both are ok. The parties are full of Isreali mash heads and the market is full of hassle, so I advise you find the German Bakery and chill there its a hell of a lot nicer than anything else in Anjuna.
Favorite Dish: Its all good
