Every Wednesday (in the high season) there is a market at Anjuna Beach.
Something that started as a small market where hippies selling bits and bobs so they could spend some more times in Goa, or to the flight home, has now become a major attraction for anyone visiting Goa.
Tibetans, merchants from Kashmir, colorful Gujarati and Rajasthani women, old and new hippies, Indian tourists, western package tourists and travelers from around the world come to the Wednesday market in Anjuna.
What to buy: Here you will find "everything": Books, old Enfield (motorcycle), hammocks, jewelry, rave clothing, henna, spices, chocolate cake, cheesecake, chai, and Turkish coffee are some of the things you can get here.
What to pay: Bargain hard!
