Go there in monsoons and enjoy the unexpected rains. Even if you go there in April as we did ,you would find the rain to play hide and seek with you. No rain for some time and next minute you are wet, then silence for some minutes and lo here comes the drizzle again.
Fondest memory: Meghalaya stands for "abode of clouds" and the term is understood best when you visit Cherrapunji. On this site I have attached some photographs ,in which you may find me surrounded by clouds. In fact cloud and rain are two most important elements of Cherrapunji.
