But since the invention of Deep sea fishing Trawlers their livelihood has become limited. The trawlers get more fish and the bigger fish, who get more value. We witnessed fishing by the country boats and auction of fishes at the beach.

It is difficult to pass the evening as per your choice in Digha. So what do you do in the evening? Just behave like Romans in Rome, well I mean do exactly what the locals and people from Calcutta do. Just take a stroll of the Beach, eat fresh fish fry, watch the crowd, watch the shops selling sea shells or just watch the sea. But please dont go very near to the sea as in the Evening Digha sea becomes very rough.
