Favorite thing: When leaving Goa you have to pay an airport fee of 6 dollars (in dollars, not in rupees). Remember to save this amount of cash in dollars.

Favorite thing: Dont bother with travellers cheques,just take good old cash.you really do have bargaining power with sterling especially at the markets,they just cant get enough of your crispy notes.

Favorite thing: This may be an old one, but if the phone or fax number is not toning normally at Goa, just put additional '2' before local number, like '2643472' replaces old '643472' (March 2003).
