I buy virtually all my toiletries & medical supplies on my first day in Goa...its way cheaper than at home. Saves space in your luggage...and I leave it all there for the roomboy...so saves space going back too! Leave a Comment

Do not bring a beach towel with you, it only adds to the weight in your case.
You can pick one up for around 200 rps (£2.30).
When you have finished with it you can leave it behind for one of the locals.

The first time we went to indea we took jeans, shirts, a jumper!!???? This time we took linen pants t shirts, aned flip flops. Seriously , you may think that its a bit scruffy but its just right for what everyone wears! I saw very few people in jeans or shirts, and the ones that did were looking at evefryones else thinking ' i wish i brought my linen pants with me'!!!. Also travel light, you will pick up lodes ofgoodies in goa and they tend to sting you for being over wieght in the airport.

A beach bag, a big one at that!! you don't need much for the beach, yourself and your swimming costume mostley, but there are lots of shops you can go visit just off the beach so you will need something to carry all your shopping back with.
Take a big case too! for all the shopping you will do. but remember to pack light on the way out.
take swimwear, sarongs (you can buy over in goa!) vest tops, shorts. and flip flops, you will be set, pack as light as possible.
It's possible to buy anything you need in goa, but for the ladies out there i would recomend bringing you own shampoo and conditior and other lady things as theyre not that great out in goa.
Pack your camera, always have it at hand, you will always see something you wernt expecting to see. and everyone back home will never believe the stories, have the photos/film to back it up.
beachwear, just general, tankini/bikini, i would not recomend a bathing suit in goa it's far to hot, it will get stuck to you, and if you need the toilet you've had it, you will never get the thing down or back up again.
