Beef, mutton, chicken, u name it they have it. aND all of it halal. Located in mapusa, this restaurant drove us all the way from calangute not just b cos it had gr8 taste, but mainly b cos it served halal food.
Halal food is hard to find in Goa, something I take for granted in my hometown Hyderabad. So when we got tired of eating vegs, we headed straight to mapusa for some meaty stuff.
Favorite Dish: Chicken rolls, rotis, chicken masala, chicken biryani is also okay (no one can beat we hyderabadi's at that). Tandoori chicken is the best of it all.

Calangute's bars and restaurants
are mainly grouped around the entrance
to the beach and along the Baga road.
As with most Goan resorts,
the accent is firmly on seafood,
though many places tack on a few
token vegetarian dishes.
Western breakfasts also
feature prominently

The self styled "top" restaurant in Panjim, the capital of Goa. Popular with locals and tourists alike.
Great food, atmosphere and service. You need to book for the evening.

Good ratio for price/quality. At Baga Road, very close to hotel Bomfim. Easy street bar & restaurant with quick, friendly service and the meals were served warm, which is not so evident in the country of susegad.
The overall was tasty and fulfilling in every four time visited.
Favorite Dish: Example menu for two: very spicy chicken in sauce (Chicken Kohlapuri), stuffed potatoes in Goa style with sauce (Aloo Palak), cheese with sauce (Paneer Tikka Masala), mixed rice, 2 garlic naans. With soda and water, 325 rupias. Additional plus for we requested very spicy and we got just what we wanted (March 2003).

d?f.?staurant that the locals seem to love. you can sit outside if you wish and if you are inside there are plenty of fans to keep yo cool. The atmosphere is fantastic and on Saturday nights they have a DJ/singer on or you can do kareoke if you wish.
Favorite Dish: Goa is famous its seafood so these guys supply lots of it. The portions are huge and this comes as no suprise when you see the size of some of the seafood they have. My faourite were the Tandoori prawns (the size of your hand).

Restaurant Inferno is one of the best tandori restaurants in Candolim. The location on the Beach Road is good. The prices are a bit higher than usual.
