Jodpur is a hot place year round so organized transport is the key to enjoy the city at a relaxed pace. If you go to the Govind hotel there is a man that works with the hotel. He is a jolly man in his 40s and he and his rickshaw are always parked outside the hotel. It cost 250 rupees for the entire rickshaw no matter how many people and he will take you around the major sites and wait for about 3 to 5 hours. He doesnt hassle you or take you to shops making this city tour one of the best I experienced in Rajasthan.
