When it's your first time cycling here, keep in mind, that people drive on the left side of the road. Always be ware of the bumps, holes and rocks on the road. All other traffic goes first, so if a truck comes by you'll have to wait at the utter left side of the road.

AGRA - Drive from Delhi... it will take you 3 hours
AGRA - if you've come in your own vehicle, try to stay away from the crowded areas in the city... the trafiic is BAD!!!! Stay on the near your hotel which will most probably be near the Taj Mahal & Red Fort anyway.
If you're without a vehicle, hire a cycle rickshaw to go around the attractions.

Indian Airlines and other domestic airlines fly from major cities. However, you can drive down if you are in Delhi (takes about 4 hrs. and the Highway is well maintained)
Auto rickshaws are the cheapest mode of transportation and they are faster on the crowded streets. A taxi will just take more time & cost you thrice as much. But remember to set prices in advance

By bike. You can rent a bike for 1 dollar a day. The bikes are in a good condition. Do lock your bike when you make a stop at the temples.
