Wear long sleaves, trousers/a dress. Slippers are handy to wear here to, because there are many temples and if you want to go inside, you have to take off your shoes. Slippers are handy taking off :)

Again: the water. You can't drink tabwater here. Drink mineral water from sealed bottles. The brands Yes!, Bisleri and Evian are good.

Some guys are waiting to accompany you on your tour to the village. It's hard but try to avoid them. They first seem friendly, but after guiding you they want to show you all the shops of their whole family. They push you to buy things you don't want to and ask you for money too.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: good walking shoes for long walks and slippers.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: anti-mosquito net/cream/spray, suncream.

Photo Equipment: Film is here, check the expire dates and don't buy film that lays in the sun.
