When it's your first time cycling here, keep in mind, that people drive on the left side of the road. Always be ware of the bumps, holes and rocks on the road. All other traffic goes first, so if a truck comes by you'll have to wait at the utter left side of the road.

Wear long sleaves, trousers/a dress. Slippers are handy to wear here to, because there are many temples and if you want to go inside, you have to take off your shoes. Slippers are handy taking off :)

Some guys are waiting to accompany you on your tour to the village. It's hard but try to avoid them. They first seem friendly, but after guiding you they want to show you all the shops of their whole family. They push you to buy things you don't want to and ask you for money too.
