Favorite thing: Bring a good jacket, 2 should be enough. Good trousers as well, thick wool trousers.
For high mountain sickness, I don't have any problem except I find it very difficult to breath and I try to reduce unneccessary energy wasting actions, that's all. Water is not so important, one or 2 bottles enough. camera is too important, a must. Bring your best long distance lens to capture so many beautiful unexpected views.

Favorite thing: To cross the border of Khunjerab Pass, make sure you visit after the month of May until almost year end. Don't visit the border in winter time.

I think this location should be placed under Pakistan or in China's province but was under India. According to maps, the Karakoram Range covered the disputed border of Pakistan and India, therefore......
