for the yatra most people prefer to trek as that is the most difficult ,as it is steep uphill climb,if you are physically unfit and cannot do the climb ponies as well as mules are avaliable at a price,for old people there are Palinquin carried by 4 to 6 people(this is the saddest part people carry the load of a humanbeing as well as the chair for a living).

Favorite thing: This person who worked at the hotel where we stayed was so genuinely helpful. He is not a guide, but he helped us immensely with no expectations. I found him do the same to many others that we came across. I insisted that he take a small payment.
