Luggage and bags: Carry some bags to collect your own littre. Many people have left garbage in the jungle. Pls pls pls do not add to it. While you roam around collect your own garbage in those bags and throw at dustbins where available or dump in your hotel dust bin. Keep the City and the Jungle Clean.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Goggals / Hats are necessary my trip even in March 2010 was very hot..in the day time. Eveneings are a bit cooler... so a light jacket would be helpful..
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Mosquito repellants would be usefull if you stay at a budget / Bed and breakfast location. Medical shops close around 10:30 so if you have any 'Must have' medications carry along with you surely or buy before the shop closes :-)
Photo Equipment: Chargers !!!! Do not forget these .... Carry your Binoculars if you want to see those points the guide point at :-)
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Nice shoes , as there is alot of walking in the jungle you can do.... Water bottles , cold drinks etc would be very much necessary, though you get many of these things from the vendors at the 'Points'.....
Miscellaneous: Carry your ATM/Debit Cards, There are SBI, Unian Bank(Visa), IDBI (Visa/MC etc) ATMs available in Mahabaleshwar now, So no issues you can travel with little cash in your purse. But credit cards are not welcome mostly :-(

Luggage and bags: Carry small bags within ur big ones, there are lots of hills n mountains u would like to go camping or trekking.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If ur there in the winter take a lot of warm clothing, it can get too cold. At other times take a lot of cotton clothing.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Carry all the regular stuff that is needed, pain killers, cold n flu tablets, mosquito repellents as well. Its a small place where all the shops n pharmacy close down quite early, so make sure u have all the stuff handy during emergencies.
Photo Equipment: If you are a photgraphy freak make sure u check the weather before departing, being at an altitude of more than 1200 it gets quite foggy n cloudy in the winter. Take a 400 or 800 roll if possible.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: All that you can pack in. Its a jungle out there, so think of all the things that u would need.
