Going to Mayapur Dham is very easy from all parts of India. From Calcutta there are numerous trains going to Krishnagar city ( From Sealdah to North bound). From Krishnanagar you can take a taxi or bus to Mayapur Dham ( 25kms). Or if you want to go by road directly to Mayapur, you can do so by taking a bus from Esplande Bus Turminus to Mayapur. Mayapur is about 140 Kms from Kolkata by road. The bus fare should range from Rs. 60 to Rs.100 ( USD$ 2) for one side depeding on the class of the bus.
Recently, ISKON too has been organising devotional/ Tourism day long tour to Mayapur and back from their Kolkata office at ISKON Temple on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The fare is nominal ( Rs.275/- per head or USD$6) and the service is with a guide with full knowledge of Mayapur Dham and Hare Krishna movement.
