There are few non government bus service run from Mumbai to Ratnagari. We took the A/C Volvo ovrenight coach from Borivali. The journey took around 8 hours and we reached in the morning 6 AM at Ratnagari station. The ticket costs around 500 INR per head
From Ratnagari best way to hire an auto ricksaw (in 2009 INR 250) to Ganapatipule. The road is fabulous and scenic along the arabian sea coast. The auto ride lasts for around 45 min to one hour.
