Johnny’s Restaurant: Best Restaurant at Benaulim Beach.- Johnny’s

by into-thin-air

We had Some of the Best food of the entire trip at Johnny’s on Benaulim Beach !!It is one of the oldest establishments there, located just to the right of where the road ends on the beach. There is Lots of well trained staff, The service is Excellent, The Food was Excellent , The prices were fair and the choices on the menu were very good !!One night we treated ourselves too a whole fish, a Red Snapper, caught that day by a local fisherman, it was simply Magnificent, ok a little expensive at 980 rupees, But it did feed two of us Well and was both one of the Best and probably the Most Memorable meal of our entire trip !!The Sun-Sets form here are Awesome, The Beer is 50 rupee for a pint bottle, served Ice Cold – What More could you wish for ??The Toilet was probably the cleanest and best maintained that I came across in India, Yes it was on a beach too !! They even employed a Toilet Walla...

The Restaurant at Victoria Terminus: Mumbai – The Restaurant at Victoria Terminus

by into-thin-air

On our way south we had a few hours in Mumbai so wanted to have some dinner before catching the train down to Goa, We just followed the signs to the Restaurant on the second floor at Victoria Terminus (CST)There wasn’t a lot of choice food wise, but what there was, was good and the prices were ok. The best thing about this restaurant was, that although slightly crumbling, it was a relic from the colonial era, and it didn’t take a lot of imagination to realise how magnificent it must have been in it’s hay-day !!

Tip Photo
The Drish Food Plaza: The Only Choice in Bheraghat !!

by into-thin-air

The Drish Food Plaza is the Only Restaurant Bheraghat other than eating in the hotels !But, I am pleased to say that it is a very Good one and we were Very Well looked after here,Most tourists visiting Bheraghat are day-trippers, so often the Restaurant was very quiet in the evenings, But the guys who ran the place were Very Friendly and helpful, they even sent out and got us some beer !!!! The Food was Excellent , The prices were fair and the choices on the menu were very good !!

The Dolphin Restaurant: A Treat in Varanasi

by into-thin-air

As it was Dee’s Birthday we treated ourselves to a Posh meal at “The Dolphin Restaurant” The views over the Ganges form the outside terrace are Very Good, The food is Excellent and the service is both Friendly and Efficient, There is a good choice on the Menu although the prices are higher than in the other restaurants that we used, But there again it was a Birthday Treat !!

Tip Photo
Yash Café: Agra -- Our Favourite Restaurant

by into-thin-air

This was our favourite restaurant in Agra, The food was so Good and Reasonably priced that we ate quite a few of our meals here.Friendly Service, Good choice of dishes on the menu and a great place for people watching !!

Tip Photo
Apex Restaurant (Inside Apex Hotel): Our Favourite Restaurant in Varanasi

by into-thin-air

This was our favourite restaurant in Varanasi, in fact other than one unsatisfactory meal in our hotel and one “Treat” we ate most of our meals here. The views over the Ganges form the terrace are as good as you will find anywhere in Varanasi, The food is Really Very Good and the sercice is both Friendly and efficient, The menu is good and the prices are fair – What more could you want !!Also this was a nice place to sit for a sun-down beer ;-)

Tip Photo
The Mediterraneo Restaurant: Great Italian food in Jaipur

by into-thin-air

This is probably about the Best choice for JaipurThe Mediterraneo has both an Inside and a Roof-Top Restaurant, we Opted for the Roof Top but then it started to rain so Quickly moved inside !! The food is very good with a Great choice of Mainly Itallian dishes on the menu and the prices are not bad !!The service is Good, Quick and friendly :-)

Sam’s Café: Delhi -- Best choice for The Paharganj ?

by into-thin-air

This is probably about the Best choice for The Paharganj,Sam’s has both an Inside Downstairs and a Roof-Top Restaurant, we usually opted for the latter, To me sitting outside being the better option !!The food is fairly good, good choice of menu and the prices are a Lot better than the previous two restaurants mentioned as well as the service being better and more friendly :-) Again if you want alcohol here then you will be unlucky !!

Tip Photo
Malhotra Restaurant: Delhi - Another Over priced tourist restaurant

by into-thin-air

Another Over priced tourist restaurant just off the the Main Bazar, Again, a bit unfriendly and this one also has Very Slow service but again, to be fair, it has to be said that the food is good !!But if you want alcohol here then you will be unlucky !!

Tip Photo
Metropolis Restaurant a & Bar: Delhi - Over priced Tourist Roof-Top Restaurant

by into-thin-air

Over priced tourist Roof-Top restaurant on the Main Bazar, Above The Metropolis Tourist Home. a bit unfriendly but it has to be said that the food is good !!So, If you want some good food and aren’t on a tight budget then this place is an optionA Big advantage that this pace has is that it is one of the few place in the Paharganj area that serves alcohol – all be in overpriced !!
