On the way to the park, the wildlife already begins to be quite impressive. Antelope and monkeys range outside the park, but tigers are unlikely to do so, so continue without delay for the purpose of finding the tiger. I was particularly amused by a troop of monkeys, and would have liked to stop and catch more photos of them, but the guide recommended that we continue on to the park as soon as possible.

Dev, the naturalist

Each Cantor is accompanied by a naturalist guide, which, although a tourist trap in a sense, is a blessing in disguise, as he is able to identify the various animals and birds, knows where to find them, and can listen out for warning calls and distress signals.

The cost of the park fees includes the use of a stills camera, but if you wish to use a video camera, you will need to pay an additional fee of IRs 200. EACH TIME YOU ENTER THE PARK!
