The people and their food, Hyderabad
((Will add some great shots of hyderabad soon...for now this is all i have!))
At Anantagiri Hills,Viquarabad.
Camping in the woods...had a fun time..started cooking dinner at midnight and it was ready at 3.45am!!
Here, in this pic u can see us busy cutting vegetables and onion(onions are a basic requirement for most of the indian recipies).
Keep atleast a few weeks away, to explore the city inside out.
Food is the first thing that comes up in my mind. And among my favorites is definately Biryani, both chicken and mutton. Make it a point to have it whenever you happen to make a visit...
Also try out Haleem, which is quite a mouthful too.
Lastly, don't forget to buy books on Hyderabadi cuisine...
Fondest memory: ....having ice cream at Famous Ice Creams in Moazzam Jahi Market and eating hot kababs and parathas at Tank Bund, or Himayat Sagar as it is popularly known.
Favorite thing: The most popular way to see the city is to take an auto rickshaw. This taxies are cheaper and fast and if you want to have a funny memory of it, don't forget a handy camera and film a travel on one of this vehicles!! Just be sure that the driver start the taximeter. Most of the drivers doesn't speak english, but they can understand places and common words.
When I first came to Hyderabad I was very said seeing that so many people doesn't even have decent place to sleep and I was surprised how poor they are.
The only thing they have is today and they live it like it will be their last day on earth.
They are friendly and have always smile to give and I admire them for that.
well we hyderabadieees are gifted to serve your the worlds best biryanis and that where i love to take my friends who will just love to have this lovely meal from the heart of hyderabad chef this is a real place to have you yummy dinner lunch
Fondest memory: well ofcouse the chai of hyderabad and biryani ..the best memories humm my church .st marys secunderabad i miss a lot
best memory may be when u visit we can have a memorable day
Favorite thing: This is a 'family car'. Most of indians use motorcycles and scooters as their trasportation. This scene is very common in Hyderabad and I'm sure in most of India's cities.
Favorite thing: Just take a walk for the several markets in the city. Not only to buy, but just to take a close look of the enviroment.
