Unique Suggestions: best is to take a friend along.if you dont have anyone,just ask at the place you are staying on reasonable prices.while buying things like bangles(however not glass bangles,they have a fixed price for those)check out the prices with a local person.if you find a localite at the shop,it is acceptable(and sensible)to ask them advice on the purchase and the price.most often they would give you good tips.

If you are not aware of the city topography, you may be taken for a ride, literally and otherwise!!check out the route(at least know the rough time it would take you)so that you would not be taking a longer route,just so that your driver makes extra bucks at your cost!
