There are a lot of exotic deseases in Machilipatnam. One of them is amebiosis, against which you can't get any vaccination. As well it is said to be hepatite C in Machilipatnam, against which there isn't any vaccination.
You need all possible vaccinations (as usually in India).
In year 2000 we visited an area, where there lived only people suffering from leprocy. Because of places like that it may be dangerous to go around in Machilipatnam without any guidance. (I don't know if the leprocy area still exist.)
