Don't get between dessert & me

The Green Park Hotel's main restuarant is set just inside from the lobby of the hotel. The hotel itself is 5 star and the restaurant sits at this standard too.

The food is laid out on the tables for all to try what they wish. There were about 5 vegetarian curries along with about 3 meat curries. Then of course there is salad and other items. The staff take care of making sure you have plenty of Naan whenever you need it and 2 chefs in the corner are busy making these before your eyes.

Favorite Dish: The Dessert bar. No doubt about it. I was shocked. I had never really experienced Indian desserts before. Told alot about them but never tried. Along side the dessert table with numerous delectible delights was the ice cream.

Quick Tip: It's not a good look

This is a run of the mill cheap shoe store in Vizag.

We went with one purpose.
To be humiliated. Apparently.

When I agreed to be decked out in traditional garb for the wedding I wasn't aware we'd be trying on chick shoes... but that was what ended came out with.

Only for a wedding I would I wear these.

What to buy: Traditional shoes for weddings

Warnings and Dangers

What not to wear...

Although this isn't specifically a warning or danger, it is a word of caution so I thought this was an appropriate place to post it. On the day I left home (Minnesota) it was -20 Fahrenheit (-29 Celsius) so I was very happy to be going to a warm destination. I had packed a pair of shorts for that very reason. Well, the first day I wore shorts in Visag there were so many people coming up to me asking me to be in their pictures or home videos. I'm sure this wasn't just because I was obviously a foreigner because the day before I was wearing jeans and no one approached me. I agreed to most requests because it was something I could do to make someone happy and all I had to do was stand there and smile or wave if it was a home video. There was one group in particular that was quite funny. It was a group of three girls that were right around my age. They had been following me and my friend in a park for about 10 minutes before one of them got up the nerve to ask me to be in a picture with them. I thought it was an amusing situation so I asked my friend to take a picture with my camera as well. That was the only day that I wore shorts in India. I had been so excited to wear shorts because of the extremely cold weather back home, but it just wasn't worth it because of all the unwanted attention that it brought.

Favorite thing: The RK beach is one of the best tourist spot in Vizag. Spreading through the edge of the sea, the R.K.Beach is a great spot to spend quality time. U will find mostly Indian tourists coming here. Vizag is not in the itenary of a foreign tourist, though it has one of the most fabulous beaches, offers scope for adventure sports and nature displayin itself in abundance.

Fondest memory: The best time in had was on the beach. My first trip to a beach and it was great fun. Especially nimmak phutia!!
