Getting Around State of Assam

Thanks to India railway that offer us many trains to visit Assam from Delhi including shatabi train.I choose Sampark Kranti train to cover the distance of 1982 kms from New Delhi to Guwahati.Rupees 521 for 1982 kms and bearth to sleep for 32 hours in sleeper class is cheep proposition anyway.Though i was traveling solo but not for second i felt alone in the trains as along with fellow passenger there was large number of venders keep drawing my attenion throught out.First of all the pantry car tea seller keep selling tea,then cutlets,then lunch and dinner and then vender of each station.It is series of vender that keeps your mind busy, shoe polish, news paper vender, jip repair, comb seller, fruit seller, toy seller and many others but all the i have to wait for is Rampyari Chaias its available only when some station comes.Well this chai is always different from pantry chai that is tea bag tea which is not my prefrence.
Well i enjoyed my train journey despite the fact that 32 hours in train is very boring but this is very refreshing for me as travel rarely and by the window of train i see, love and appericiate the beauty of country.In addition train journey gave me an oppurtunity to read a good 'The city of Joy' written by Dominque Lapire.Thanks again India railway.
