need not say much to this chain of restaurant. serves the best pizza where ever u are.
i have basically put this tip here, coz most people who are not in for the local food, might get something which is similar to their taste back home

I love this restaurant...it was the first place I ate out when I was there last week.........the food, the service and the ambience.....you wouldn't think it was in the middle of a shopping centre

Travelling by train from surat was a terrific experience. It was the only time i took the train but would recommend travelling this way throughout India. It was fast, efficient, pleasant and can have conversations with all the happy locals.
Remember to confirm all train bookings.. else you won't have an allocated seat, and will move from one compartment to the next with all luggage mis-placed. Thats what happened to us but it was fun like that.

Favorite thing: the city of surat comes under non-alcohol state of gujarat. so no alcohol is served in surat, except for some 5 star hotels where you have to show your passport that you are not from india.
so be carefull when drinking in public places. you can only drink inside your house or hotel.
