This is a popular place with Indian Tourists. Everyone is welcome.
With comfy sofa's, an open fire and good food. It is popular. Johnson's Cafe are trying to encourage everyone to come along. Music was okay, not much dancing was going on as I think people were enjoying the fire too much.

Manali, isn't known for a late nightlife.
So, Chopsticks is popular. Not just for eating, but drinking as well. We have found ourselves in there a couple of times, enjoying a bottle of Apple wine. Because being around the fire in winter is popular, we have got to know some of the residents of Manai. They are very knowledgeable of the local area.
Chopsticks shuts at 10pm, however tey do not kick you out straight away.

Address: The Mall
Described in the Lonely Planet, as India's version of TGI Friday's. It isn't quite. It does feel a if it has a more upmarket feel than other places.
One wall is taken up by windows looking on to the Mall. In the winter these means that it is cold especially as there is no heating. Drinks are more expensive than at Chopsticks. The seatings is segretated, so it is hard to get talking to other people.
Staff are friendly, a little trouble with understanding each other. Watch the steps as you go up to it, some are broken.
