I do agree that all passangers are required to have a security screening by the authority, but to enter the airport till boarding the plane i encounter more than FIVE times of security check are ridiculous.. it include baggage screening and body check.. to much for me.. maybe i give 3 star to kashmir but none to the airport security.. this will be my last visit to kashmir.. no regret..
Kashmir is a tumultous state which is stuck in between two conflicting countries... As a result, there is a lot of soldiers and police being stationed there... more often than not these officers sometimes like to approach tourists...Well, according to our kashmiri friends, it is not advisable to approach or mingle or even be in close proximity with them... so especially for female travellers, do take note...
I went there last Christmas and because of the bad weather, we had to stay there for one whole day with no alternatives. so if you are with a tight schedule, and need to make a transit at New Delhi, make sure you have spare one extra day
