by ChuckG One thing I liked in Bangalore is to wander in the small plaza and streets and interact with the locals. Otherwise, a trip to Bangalore can be very westernized if sticking to the commercial streets, attractions and hotels

by topoftheworl If you are lucky enough to be there on a moonlit night, it literally glitters. As it is a Mausoleum, you have to take your shoes off to walk on it. This a custom at most 'holy' places. Leave your best shoes behind, and hold on to the ticket you get in the shoe area.

by sandravdp What I loved about Orcha was the peace and quiet. Not many tourists come here, the people here are so nice and the landscape and all the buildings keep surprising you. Leave a Comment

by SirRichard MYSORE PALACE (Mysore) The former Maharaja's Palace is now turned into a museum that can be visited daily. Fabulous rooms, incredible paintings and luxury all around. The entrance is very cheap, no photos allowed inside the palace. You must remove your shoes to enter (wear sandals and wash your feet that day!). At nights on sundays the lighten up all the Palace with more than 50.000 lights!!! Leave a Comment
