Hmmm.. This place is one of the most happening places in Bangalore . The crowd is top class. Entry is Rs 700 /- that is a cover charge . You can redeem the amount on food and drink inside . The best days to be there are Wed / Fri / Sat . Music is amazing along with fantastic women and wine ... All the rich n snooty crowd in Blore party at the BLUE BAR :)
Tucked away in a little nook at the TAJ WESTEND ( 5 STAR HOTEL ) .Worth every Rupee you spend there. Music n booze stop at 12 every night but you can stay on until 4 am on the weekends .

Perhaps this is one of Bangalore's most happening spots, catering mainly to yuppies with fat wallets from Bangalore's IT boom. The place is actually a hodgepodge of restos, bars, lounges and dancefloors that provide a multifarious experience to the nightowls. One could choose to simply lounge around and chat with friends or bang heads with other dance freaks.
Its location - rooftop of some modern building - gives the place an airy (and wet and stormy during monsoons) ambiance.

New Avataar of Pecos is Mojos :) . A more upmarket and new branch of PECOS . Its jsut as nice and the breakfast here on the weekend is just as good as the one at PECOS .

It's a dance club in the front part, a lounge at the back. Very modern and located right off.
The place has a very high ceiling and the DJ Booth is up in the air. Quite impressive.
The nightlife IN Bangalore stops quite early by law. Better show up early because by 11PM...things start to close.

My first nights in Bangalore were quite traumatizing. I heard stories of how single guys were kept in different sections than girls (when there's any) and how the pubs were filled with 50 guys for 1 girl.
Well my first few nights made me believe it was true. First, some pubs won't let you in unless your accompanied. Then, they won't let you on the dance floor or close to it.
Fortunately, I went to the afterhours "The Club"...world class !
Although I had to go accompanied to get in "The Club", the atmosphere inside was awesome. There is a big dance floor, 2 levels, an incredibly big outdoor patio that can fits hundred or people

the atmosphere is very very different. They have a terrace with these totally huge sofas where you just have to lie back..... the music is good, not real loud like the rest of the places. They serve fusion cuisine - something like Thai Chicken with Kerala Parathas, or Chicken Manchurian with South Indian dosa and you know what - it does not taste bad.
