This is a great place where you will find a nice blend of Sports and quality food. I got to know about this place at newscollective site. A very professional and skillful video that gives a inside out view of the place and whats in store for you....

Bangalore is a city with wonderful people, some sensational food to be enjoyed and a great climate. There is no eutopia and the downside is that Bangalore nightlife is frankly dire by Western standards. State laws mean that all the bars have to be closed (and that is closed, not last orders) by 23.30 every night. There is nowhere I could find in living there for three months that would even vaguely resemble anything approaching a crazy night spot. Bangalore is a great place for the reasons that I listed above. If you want great nightlife then you are in the wrong city.

Try something a little different this weekend during your stay in Bangalore. Every Sunday night a group of enthusiastic Salsa dance lovers ranging from novices to advanced get together at this cozy restaurant for a fun-filled night of Salsa dancing. The people are generally warm and friendly and will dance with you and even teach you a few steps if you ask nicely :) Salsa music and dancing starts at 8:30pm every Sunday night and goes on til about 11pm.

Well this is not your traditional nightlife spot but yes if you want to try local street food then this is a must visit.
The location is in a locality call VV Puram adjacent to a famous Bangalore establishment - VB Bakery - Ask anyone (locals) and they will point you in the right direction.
You will have to walk down this street to experience the smells and visions of local food.
You get all kinds of local food - dosas to milk shakes (with a difference) and let me tell you nothing is more than USD 1.
Do take a local with you to get the inside view of the local dishes. Mind you - it will be very difficult to find meat dishes here.
Life here starts post 5 pm.
Dress Code: Anything that fancies you.

This is a nice cozy little pub in Koramangla and the best part about it is the awesome music! this is brilliant for the 90 and early 2000 rock music fans...
they also play the video in a giant screen and the snax (masala peanuts) is defn worth a look!!

Purple Haze is a pub that is very dark and plays nothing but rock music. My kind of place!
The music is switched on at 6.30pm - and when it switches on it just sounds awesome!
It is all in surround sound, and there is a speaker in every possible corner. They have really done a great job here
It was a great pub but unfortunately they really annoyed me at the end...
Throughout my stay the staff would insist on bringing more drinks. When they brought out the bill they over charged me by 100%. I guess they try to get foreigners drunk to try and rip them off. I corrected their mistake and they fixed it up....

This place is not up to the mark. crowd is good and that is it. the cover charge is Rs 2000/- you can reiburse it against snacks and drinks but its not worth. The music is awful and no dance floor. Added to that its an open air bar and not very great, i can even stroll on the roads and get the same fresh air, if i wish.

400 rupees will get you inside this lounge, where you can sip martinis or other mixed drinks, sit on a terrace or on the couches inside watching the LCD TV, check the overall city skyline, and listen to forgotten '80s music by the likes of Phil Collins, Glenn Frey, Dan Hartman and Richard Marx. You decide whether that's good or bad.
The 400 rupees will go against drinks, so no loss there - at about 120-130 rupees each you will have to consume 3+ drinks to make it worth it, so this is not an "oh, let's hit it up for 5 minutes" kind of spot. On the other hand 400 rupees is 9 dollars, so no big whoop.
The place is rather slick, and the crowd is nice / trendy / young, so though I do sound snarky about it (courtesy of the crapola music they chose to play that night) it is a nice joint. Definitely a touch of sophistication in the Bangalore nightlife.
Dress Code: Nice casual - there is a doorman, and I gather they do turn away the not so nicely dressed ones.
