Samsung Plaza in Forum mall sucks, Lazy team

NEVER VISIT THIS SHOP, if you are looking for a better service/skilled sales team.

I was in full good mood to buy samsung phone on samsung showroom and had enquired in almost all shops like universal/sangeetha etc before entering in to samsung showroom.

I was looking for someone, who can guide me to buy this phone. But to my surprise, most of them where talking together near billing area. And to my good luck, a lady, Banu came to my help.

Assurance: I started asking about mobile and price/offers. To my surprise, she offered me screen gaurd free if i buy samsung-s2.
I dont want to buy in universal or sangeetha as there was a little price difference. I went for billing and to my shock, after billing Banu-sales lady says, no offers in this and we cannot give screen gaurd.

I had no choice and i had take the phone as billing was done.

I have good set of friends who would want to buy mobile in near future. And iam sure am not going to recommend this shop for sure as they do not bother to greet you/make you comfortable.
Banu, and one more folk(claiming himself as Aslam as manager) were so lazy to service.I really pity the owner of the shop for keeping such a lazy team that too on a busy weekend.

This is a huge shop in Domlur filled with many categories of things, they have food furniture , furnishings and fashion. There are so many things to buy all made using traditional craft techniques, I found out that they are a social business and have in house designers to work along side artisans.

What to buy: Many crafts of India are available, kalamkari, madhubani, dhokra items. Mangalgiri, hand block print clothes, Natural fibre items, furniture, organic foods, home furnishings.

What to pay: mid to high range, from 65Rs upwards

Wooqer is an online portal that helps you find the best deals available across Malls, Markets and Brands in Bangalore and Pune sitting in front of your computer/laptop or even your mobile phone. All you need to do is go to www.wooqer.com and search for
- The market/ Mall you are planning to visit to find all deals available there

- The product you plan to buy to find where in Bangalore it is available on sale
http://www.wooqer.com/a/browseByCategory.do?c=10

- Browse promotions in town to see if there is something you would like to purchase while it is on Sale
http://www.wooqer.com/a/browseByBrand.do?c=10

The best part is that if you don;t find the deal you are looking for, you can wish for it and the same is communicated to the respective Brands who often grant these wishes!

What to buy: All the Big Brands and malls are available in Bangalore. But you don't want to miss out on sarees and sandalwood items

One of its kind party wear boutique for little girls. They have their own unique designs with excellent color co ordinations, with tasteful embellishments and finish. Hardly anyone who has entered this shop has not been wowed by the designs.
All their stuff is in house designed and produced which ensures the child wearing their dresses will stand out in any crowd.
They have ready made party wear and casuals till age 8 on stands and they can make to order till age 12.
Birthdays, communions, christenings, weddings, flower girls or just about any occasion they will produce a dress that will meet the customers requirements.
They also cater to the local school play costumes again on a very selective and limited basis.
Bethany high school Bangalore whose school plays are sold out performances use them for all their plays.
If you have a little princess at home a must visit and shop.

Brigade Road: Shops and restaurants

Brigade Road is one of the biggest commercial centres and busiest shopping areas of Bangalore. It is a connecting road between MG Road and Residency Road. It isn't all that long but there's a lot of shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, pubs and western fast food chains such as KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Domino's and Starbucks located on either side and is extremely popular with, not only Indians, but foreigners as well. Shops here include Levi's, Reebok, Dockers, Woodland, Nike etc

Chilli Billi: Shopping in Bangalore
mavish profile photo

2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Having recently moved to Bangalore on an assignment, I found it extremely difficult to find places I could go to for some good old girly retail therapy. Everyone I asked suggested either Leela or Commercial street - both of which I found overrated, for different reasons. The Ambaras and Fab Indias have limited appeal for me. I needed clothes for work and to go out. I was stuck.

Then a friend sent me a link on Facebook about a new store called 'Chilli Billi' which, I believe, means 'hot cat' in Hindi. Their Facebook page is a must-visit. They've put up photos of their stuff and have quite a lively interaction going on with their numerous fans. I knew I had to visit the store.

The store itself, the decor, reminded me of quirky little niche and vintage stores especially those in London, Rome and Madrid. The staff were exceedingly pleasant and tried to assist, not sell. And the stuff, oh the stuff! It was a delight. I felt like I was transported back home for the hour I spent at the store. No bustle, great music, and a good mix of both trendy and classic styles. All, at a real bargain. I didn't even need a jacket, yet I picked up a delicious cotton one in white, a great handbag, red shoes and a dress - all for under 3000 rupees.

I'd strongly recommend every fashionable and individualistic woman in Bangalore make a beeline for Chilli Billi.

What to pay: Cash, Card.

Head here for some really good quality kurtas and kurtis and less than a fraction of the cost you would pay at most other stores. They also have men's wear, home furnishings and foot wear, however it si best known for innerwear and women's wear :)I have some clothes from here that have lasted me for over 3 years of rough and daily wear!

What to buy: Kurtis and kurtas

What to pay: Rs 300 -Rs 500
