Hampi Bazar: A great place to do your last day shopping!

Hampi Bazar has a lot of shops, from the tailor and tourist clothes shops to the souvenir and handcraft shops. The villages is a labyrinth of little streets with a lots of shops, you can't miss it. The main road is broader and has also a lot of interesting things to buy for presents to bring back to Europe...

What to buy: You can buy whatever you want : hippie style dress and shirts, bags, jewels, wooden god statues, paintings... A paradise for the western shoppers, but not for the woman that want to buy saris ;-)

In Hampi you can see all these clothes hanging in beautiful colors, with beautiful edges. Well, the color I wanted was not in the size or shape I wanted it in. So what you can do if that is the case; you ask the shopkeeper to measure you, and have your clothing custom made for almost nothing! I have some nice comfy pants in my favourite color now!
