No matter from which country you are from, if you are in mangalore in india and you are in search of very good vegetarian food, then try this hotel.
It is a star hotel with very good accomodation.
Ask for vegetarian section in the ground floor. It has a beautiful AC Hall.
Ask for south indian veg thali meal. You get two chapatis , one plate rice, chutney, papad, pickle, one sweet, one veg bowl,2 veg dishes , 2 curry items, butter milk and curd.
All these for Rs.60+Taxes($1.44)
Do not miss this place if you are in mangalore.

Bombay Lucky Restaurant: Local cuisine

A relic of the 1920's I guess, just like any city has a place that has been there since ages, a place where your granny has munched the flour as well, on serious recommendation we landed at Bombay Lucky. It is quite an old restro on Bander street, Mohammed Ali Road. It has a typical coastal feel to its cuisine and the food is good, so you might as well give it a try.

Favorite Dish: Dry fish and chicken tandoori.
