Try this! It is really worth to go and eat there one time. The food is good, but the atmosphere is even better. Many plants hanging around, Indian live band makes you feel like in heaven. A relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff.
Very popular restaurant among tourists.
Favorite Dish: Just try sth...

The hotel had a small eating area under cover outside and a more fancy restaurant inside.
The menu was amazing, there were over one hundred dishes to choose from, most under $2. There was something for everone, from local Indian dishes to the popular international fare such as spagetti and stroganoff.
Favorite Dish: I absolutely adored the masala poppadoms. Chopped onion, chilli and tomato were served on the top of a crispy poppadom. Mmmmmmmm
Every meal we had in this restaurant was delicious!

After reading the hype I decided to check out the Park Lane myself. It got to be the only place I would have dinner in Mysore. No, it's not the food, nor the service nor the prices. It's just fun, OK?
When I was there, the Park Lane had very few rooms -- it's main business is the restaurant, not the hotel. Even if you can get a room there, don't. They are crap. You can get better (and quieter) accomodation 10 min walk away.
You summon your server by turning on a red bulb above your table. There is music most nights -- good stuff too, by some of Mysore's best musicians.
Service is slow but friendly. The food is OK, nothing special. Park Lane is about arriving at 7, having some beer, kicking back, asking others where they've been, getting some snacks, more beer, more conversation, many laughs, dinner, more beer, and leave when the place closes.
You can have lunch there too, but given that I had dinner there every night, I decided to go elsewhere for lunch. It's extraordinarily easy to eat good and on the cheap in Mysore. I just love this town.
Favorite Dish: Oh, forget the food already. The Park Lane is about ambiance, meeting other travelers, making friends, and enjoying Mysore.

The food as always in India is excellent, but it is the decor in this resturant that is the real winner judge for yourself
