The cheapest way to travel in Kerala is by train and by KSRTC Buses.
Well, the buses are not that good. But they are damn cheap.
And ofcourse the trains.I'm sure the exchange reates would tempt you to get a firt class ticket in train. If you're really interested to learn more about the people of Kerala, I would advice you to reavel second class.
It would be a unique experiance.
And ofcourse ipn your mouth.
After all Keralites have some a kind of admiration towards a foreign 'White/black' .
