Favorite thing: You'll find plenty of internet cafes along the cliff top plus some money exchangers which all compete with each other and so rates are very good, in fact I think I got the best ever rate of exchange during my 4 month trip in India, here. I think there was also an ATM but I can't remember for sure.

Favorite thing: before embarking on my research on kerala as i always do before visiting any destination the question uppermost in my mind was what am i really looking for?
well i was looking forward to a bright suuny destination with seaside and ocean fronts. but i was also looking forward to some tranquility peace and relaxation i closed my eyes and i realised that it had to be VARKALA.
away from the nasty kovalam. away from hustle and bustle of cities.right on top of the cliffs watching the ocean and the colors of sunset.
IT WAS A GODSEND IN GODS OWN COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!
Fondest memory: many have visited kerala very few have experienced varkala.
