    The Shantinagh Temple is one of the Jain Temples in the Eastern Group. All the temples in this group have elaborate carvings but minus the erotic style found in the Western Group.

    The Adinath Temple has just been recently restored and just opposite the Parsvanath Temple. The carvings of this temple run around in three rings.

    There is quite a mix in the Eastern Group of temples. They comprise 4 Jain temples and 3 Hindu Temples. The temples are close to the village and about 2 .4 km from the tourist centre.

    This statue of Vishnu is found in the Garbhagriha , a sanctum inside the Lakshmana Temple. Vishnu is depicted as Vaikunt which is the name of his heavenly domain.

    The temple stands around 30 metres tall from a large platform that also features the Devi Jagadambi temple. It is made out of sandstone and built entirely without the use of mortar or cement.

    The tourist office in Khajuraho is just opposite the temples of the Western Group in the little township. The tourist office is run by the Government of India.

    Wake up and get in the temples early.
    You might need more time to take a look in 'Mithuna' ,' Apsara', 'Ganesh' , etc.

    I cound't remember how many rolls of film I spend. :)
