From the Gateway of India in Mumbai, you can take the ferry to Revas/Mandwa Jetty. From the jetty, take a bus, jeep taxi, or rickshaw. The ferry takes less than an hour (does not run in the monsoons), and costs less than Rs 100. From the jetty to Alibag takes about 20-30 minutes.
