local transport of water by village maidens

by pravdr

little has changed in rural india especially in the far flung villages.indian villages and civilizations have traditionally settled/developed around sources of water.in olden times the water management at home was met by the leading lady of the house who used to draw water from the well and transport it back to her home in water vessels mounted one above the other to save her multiple trips to the well which could be as far as a few kilometers away.it is a beautiful sight to behold every morning and evening as you see maidens acrry water for their household reminding us of olden times.in rural india due to water mismanagement and lack of piped water supply you can see such images.such a wonderful exercise to maintain agility balance and figure i hope the supermodels take a cue.
