Favorite thing: Visit the Elephanta caves which are just off the coast of Bombay. There are boats leaving every half hour from the Gateway of India. Which brings us to the latter. The Gateway of India was built to welcome the King of England when the British ruled India. Details are inscribed in the stone.
Favorite thing: Few visitors to Mumbai are aware that it is the only metropolis in the world with 104 square kilometers of virgin forest within its borders. The Sanjay Gandhi National Park, better known as the Borivli National Park, offers a pleasant change from the usual sights and attractions of the big city.
Favorite thing: On a Sunday morning we decided to go to this small hill station Jawhar, which is around four and half hours away from Bombay by road. This is a small town with friendly people and the best place to buy the vibrant and earthy Warli Paintings painted by the tribals of the region.
visit elephant's island;and also in south colaba, the church with the anglo-afghan war memorial:beautiful atmosphere,it is funny to see an english church among tropical trees
Fondest memory: I was drinking my 17th fruit juice of the day, sitting in the garden of this church in south colaba, there was a little wind in the trees ,then, the wind became lighter, then even lighter, and suddenly, time stopped; It can only happens in india
When in Mahabaleshwar, u should go to table land.
A flat topped hill as big as 10 foot ball grounds or bigger i guess!
