Favorite thing: Marine Drive (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Road) or popularly known as the Queen's Necklace, the promenade stretches from Walkeshwar (where the Maharashtra State Governor's Bungalow is located) to Nariman Point (where all the high rise sky scrapers of Mumbai are located). It is one of the most beautiful roads in Mumbai as it is a long curved stretch and looks better at night as the glittering lights make it look like a queen's pearl necklace!!! The promenade is always full of fitness freaks, walkers and space starved couples who frequent the place in the early mornings and evenings too!!! In the monsoons it is very wet and windy here as the waves splash the sea water onto the buildings across the road as well!!! So be careful when you drive down Marine Drive in the Monsoons!!

Favorite thing: Go for walks.. There are many wonderful places to take nice walks in Bombay where you will be find so many others walking side by side with you. I particularly liked walking down the Queen's Necklace to Nariman Point, which is the far end and back. I would sit by the sea once I got there and watch the sun set as I sipped on some fresh coconut water which is abundantly available all over the place. The reason this drive is called the Queen's Necklace is because it was designed to look like a necklace from above at night.
