Kamala Nehru Park is located at the top of Mumbai's Malabar Hills and spreads over an area of about 4000 square feet. It has got its name from Mrs. Kamala Nehru who was the wife of the First Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Inside the park there is a giant shoe which is called Old Woman’s Shoe. It is a Nice place to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset of/in Mumbai. The park is quite close to the much popular Chowpatty Beach plus Marine Drive, which is also known as Queen’s Necklace.

The park is open from 5.00 am till 9.00 pm every day of the week and is easy accessible.

    Kamala Nehru Park

At the top of Mumbai's Malabar Hill where the elite have built their plush modern palaces is Kamala Nehru Park, the hangout of the bourgeois middle class. It has little to offer by way of entertainment, apart from a "Old Woman's Shoe" relegated to a distant corner, but the view of the city is spectacular and unmissable. For most Mumbaiites, Kamala Nehru Park is to Mumbai what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris -- a vantage point that casts a proud eye on the entire city

This is nice small park at the top of Malabar Hill which overlooks Chowpatty Beach. It covers an area of 4,000 sq yards (3,300 m²) and was named after the wife of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The park is really designed for children with a few climbing sculptures.

Adjacent to Hanging Gardens This park opened in 1952, it covers an area of 4,000 square yards and commands a superb view of Marine Drive and beyond. A constant source of enjoyment is a giant old woman's shoe meant for the young to play in. There is a lovely pavilion which is another feature of the garden, surrounded by beautiful flower beds and huge lawns.

Kamla Nehru Park is located just across the road and is a children’s park. Within the park is a huge replica of the fairytale ‘Old Woman’s Shoe’. The park was built in 1952 and named after the wife of India's first Prime Minister. The park is a favourite for families to enjoy.
