Poonam is located in Burdi area, -also known as Sitabuldi. A good shop with a huge variety of exquisite collections, Poonam sarees is a shop worth visiting in Nagpur.
What to buy: 1) A sweetmeat shop-Haldirams outlets are scattered all over Nagpur and some of these outlets have restaurants attached serving chaat items as well as regional specialities.
2) Nagput is famous for its loose-jacketed oranges, although all seasonal fruits are available in that particular season.
3) Woollens in winters.
4) Salwar suits in a wide price range starting from say, Rs.250/-.
5) Chaat items like bhelpuri, sev puri, pav bhaji, pani puri etc. , its taste is out of the world in Nagpur I must say!
What to pay: One can end up spending anything between Rs.50 to Rs. 50,000 in Nagpur.
