Behind the Satpuda hills of Ramtek is hidden a gem. Vastly famous around Nagpur and quite unknown to the outside world lies the biggest boating center of India in the valley of picturesque Khindsi lake. Such is the beauty of the spot that our one hour planned trip stressed into an entire day of fun filled activities at the Rajkamal Boating and Adventure Club, Khindsi.

Surrounded by hills on three sides and abundant water in between, this place is a nature’s delight and a tourist’s heaven.

The place buzzes with youngsters and families who enjoy the sizzling rain dance in the scorching Nagpur heat, dancing to the tunes of Sonu Nigam to Bryan Adams, and making the scenes no less than the beaches of Goa.
The place has India’s only inland water Zorbing and banana boat rides, apart form the more conventional water scooter, speed boat, paidel boat, rowing boat, watercycle etc.
Lake facing cottages are truely delightful to stay in, indeed the best location of Central India

Beautiful view!!!

The Futala Lake is a nice looking place in Nagpur city and it has a large number of restaurants opposite the lake promenade. A lot of roadside stalls also sell cold drinks, tea, coffee and other snacks around the periphery of the lake. One particular area is badly maintained where there is a lot of trash on the water but most of it is well maintained with security guards patrolling the promenade continuously.
