This hill temple is commonly known as Sapt Shringad (Vani Devi) among local people. It is a highly venerated temple in this region. I found the ride to this temple the best part of the trip. The landscape is beautiful and traffic on the road is almost next to negligible. Hired cars/taxis are the best option and monsoon or winter is the best time to go. During the months of Jan-Apr, the road is kissed by vineyards and grapes are available in plentiful all along the way. The return trip will take around 4 hrs. The temple is around 70 KMs from Nashik, on the Nashik Kalwan state highway.

A trip to this Hill temple, more commonly known as Sapt Shringad (Vani) is best done during morning hours. Rented cars/private taxis are the best options and will charge around Rs. 800/- for a return trip from Nashik. The hill temple is located at the end of an arduous serpentine drive up the hill and the view from the top is splendid.
