Getting There By Road

Bundi is well connected by road to other important cities of Rajasthan such as Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota etc. Buses (mostly Govt. transport corporation) run to Delhi too.

By Rail
Bundi is connected to Kota, Chittaurgarh, and Delhi by train. Though the best bet is to reach Kota by train and catch a bus/taxi to Bundi (35 km).

Getting Around Auto rickshaw
Virtually the only mode of public transportation. Some amount of bargaining is required.

Waitting for the next bus!

The bus to Bundi took about 5 hours. From Bundi to Ajmer we needed aproximately 4 hours. Prices are dirt cheap, therefore you enjoy the typical "bus-massage", not to say broken bones ;-)
But hey, no pain - no gain!
