To reach Fatehpur Sikri, you could easily follow lot of different possibilities.
The easiest one is to enter in an agency (Delhi or better Agra) and rent for a day a car with / without driver (I would definitely suggest you a car+driver)!
If you want to follow this possibility, keep in mind you are about to spend 50USD for one day, which is not too bad if you are few people, so you could share the total cost.
Another possibility is to caugh one of the billions pubblic bus that are driving from Agra to Fatephur Sikri, which is the cheapest way. But in this case you will spend a lot of time on the way, as those pubblic bus are stopping every 30 meters...
Another possibility is to take part @ a fixed excursion. Easily enter in an agency and ask for it (I would definitely NOT raccomend it).
Just choose one...or take a Rickshaw!
