    Indian cusine is pretty famous the world around and you may have tried different dishes. However the unknown or lesser known part of the very rich Indian gastronomy are the deserts. The most popular being Kulfi or Gulab Jamun. However there is a very huge variety of other types of sweets and these vary from the different regions of India.

    Shree Mithai offers a very huge variety of North Indian varities of sweets or Mithais as they are known in India. This is a very hot spot amongs all peple of Chennai. They have a store situated near Spur tank road and another one in the better known Spencers Plaza, in the food court.
    Get to their web site and have a slight sneak at what I am talking about. Ah and if you get a chance to get there, dont forget to have a Badam Milk to my health, really great stuff.

    the atmosphere at kayal cannot be described in words or captured on camera.

    located on 3rd floor and overlooking the swimming pool and fountain. framed by glass it gives you an open dining feel with beautiful views.

    the candle on the table sets the mood for a romantic evening.

    the lobster pot kept at the very entrance catches the eye.beautiful paintings with yachts and ocean as the backdrop give vivid hues.

    a fine collestion of spirits is kept neatly arranged adding its own glow of varied hued spirits which sparkle in the eveing ambience.

    shrimp soup lobster soup coriander prawns lobster thermidor fish of varied types can be cooked to order. the live cooking experience can be had at the open kitchen.

    the service is easy paced and if you are in no hurry you can savour the dinner course by course.
