Situated on Avinashi Road, in the neighbourhood of numerous colleges, this place sells tasty and cheap sandwiches of different kinds. There are burgers, sandwiches and footlongs.
You can choose between the veggies options and non-veg options like chicken and ham/bacon. I don't remember seeing beef or mutton/lamb on the menu.
The prices range between Rs. 40 to Rs. 150 max.
The ambience is nothing to speak of. It is pretty basic and straight forward.
This place is perfect for grabbing a quick, tasty bite loaded with calories!

We have taken a package from Kannan Tours & Travels Pvt Ltd in Coimbatore for our travel to few destinations in Kerala. The company is very unprofessional, where in they don't believe in stocking to the prices quoted. At the time of final payment, the bill was not given and it was committed that bill will be sent at your house by the office.
Later after the followup of the bills, it was told to pay the service charges. Inspite of that when we agreed to pay even the service charges, we were denied the bills stating that it is too late to ask for a bill. So forget about the matter now.

I am already in NAVAKKARAI.
I took prepaid taxi at Cochin airport to the nearest bus station (I don't know which one as people at prepaid taxi counter chose for me). I paid for taxi 320 Rp. Waited for bus 15 min. Paid for bus Cochin-Coimbatore 110 Rp . The bus was VERY BASIC....(I don't know if I'd do it again....exhausting...no A/C no windows...hot, loud..it was too much after 12 hours of flights/airport time) NAVAKKARAI is on the way from Cochin to Coimbatore. About 10 min. after town Walayar (before Coimbatore ...yes about 20 km. outside of Coimbatore). The trip Cochin--Navakkarai takes about 4 hours by bus.
Navakkarai is a tiny village...and you get dropped off by the bus and there's still 2 km. to the above mentioned Ayurvedic hospital. I went to the only convenience store and asked for taxi. Taxi to hospital was 80 Rp.
I'm describing it all in such a detail so some other foreigners who try to find THE ARYA VAIDYA CHIKITSALAYAM & RESEARCH INSTITUTE "SARANYA" in Navvakkarai, Coimbatore than I hope it'll be helpful.

Check Kannan Tours & Travels Pvt Ltd. They have a very good track record, they have been around for more than 25 years. In my opinion i would rank them as the most professional travel and car rental company in coimbatore. For more detail check their website http://www.kannantours.com

I had a wonderful experience using the services of Kannan tours & travels Pvt Ltd during a recent visit to kodai and munnar. I got to use their tempo traveller vehicle for my trip and the experience was one to cherish. The vehicle was really top notch, very well maintained and really well furnished too. The driver provided to us was a really wonderful person. He was very courteous and very knowldegeable too. He acted as friend and a useful guide too. Wish we get the same kind of service when we visit the other parts of the country too. I would not hesitate to suggest Kannan Tours to anyone i know. Keep it up guys and way to go.
