Kodaikanal Warnings in General
1) Kodaikanal can be reached by road only and driving up hill is really tricky so go slow and dont get excited to see Kodaikanal soon. Make sure your driver is not drunk and patient while driving.
2) All over Kodaikanal we can see lot of monkey. so be careful when moving with kids especially if carrying food.
3) Kodaikanal is famous for flowers and some shops sell this flowers as ever lasting one but they are not so better dont buy it.

There are few shops selling so-called everlasting flowers at least for a year costing about Rs.20/- ranging in different colurs from violet, pink, etc. They just wither off in 2 days by the time you come back to your home, not like the well-known fresh ooty yellow flowers. so beware.

I enjoyed my visit to Kodaikanal as it was very cool there. It is at 2100 meters high. There are some great hikes to do and the views are Awesome. You can see for miles out over the plains.
