In a large courtyard are the Anguri Bagh or Garden of Grapes. You won’t find any grape vines here only wonderful 85m of geometric formal gardens. The gardens were changed and rebuilt in 1637 by Shah Jahan. These were the private gardens of the Mughal ladies and the design was thought to have come from the Khas Mahal’s roof.

in my lingo, grape known as anggur. so i feel so surprise that the name in urdu and hindi is 'angur', pretty close, isn't it? :)
it's a garden facing to the pavillions of Princess Jahanara and Roshanara, has its lily-pools and candle niches. the legend tells in the ancient time, the soil for this garden was brought from Kashmir.

Anguri Bagh, Agra Fort

The Anguri Bagh (Grape Garden) is a symmetrical garden found near the Diwan-i-Khas.

The fort holds a large number of courts, halls and towers ~ including the one that held Shah Jahan prisoner near the end of his life.
