    It's an interesting sight after having seen the real one. If you still have some time to spend it's worth visiting just for fun. It's much less crowded :-)

    Main gate, Itimad's Tomb

    The gates and other ancillary buildings of the great Mughal monuments would be major sights in most other places -- as is this, the main gate leading into the grounds housing Itimad's Tomb.

    As with the better-known Taj Mahal, the colors of the 'Baby Taj' change with the time of day and vantage point.

    It's fantastic to see the colors in the gardens, the monument and the river at the back.(in the portarit's travelogue there is a wonderful picture of kids in teh garden)

    This tomb was the first to be built of marble being built several years before the famous Taj Mahal, it also has many beautiful inlays

    almost as beautiful as the Taj Mahal
